one week

so we have one week left in china. i have mixed feeling about this, on one hand i miss home and all my friends like crazy, but on the other hand i know i'm going to miss all my new friends in china. i think i'm going to miss china in general, the people, the culture, living on a college campus, the excitement of trying to get someone who speaks a different language then you to understand what you are saying. this trip has really gone by fast, and as i sit here writing this entry all kinds of great memorizes come to mind and it makes me sad to think that i'm leaving. this next week is going to go by to fast! please be pr-ing for us to really finish the trip strong.

Wow. Looks like you are having a great time. Enjoy every moment because you will never do this again...(until probably next year).

Thanks for the updates. And no thanks for neglecting your blog.

Things have changed here in the US a bunch since you've been gone. Gas is now at $9.00 a gallon, the banks are experiencing a run on money. We’re about to join Israel in a war against Iran. They've removed fruit and vegetables from the supermarkets because of salmonella. The Texas Senate passed a law to save gas and energy, by forcing people keep their thermostats at 85 degrees. Violators face a $8,000.00 fine per violation. Also, the media team at church is being disbanded because we are changing to a vocal choir only, with no video, speakers, or props.

Have a great rest of your trip, and try to not to neglect your blog in the short amount of time you have left.

Your parents told me they sold all your stuff, and you'd have to sleep in a sleeping bag on the lawn when you return.
